The Remarkables were so called because they are one of only two mountain ranges in the world that run truly North-south. If you ski New Zealand and in particular, if you ski at the Remarkables, you can be sure of a long, reliable ski season. The Remarkables prides itself on the incredible family facilities like the dedicated snow tubing park, and celebrates this feature with the renowned "Remarkables Spring Carnival" in September. The Remarks offers great powder days and awesome spring snow.
